Two standard operating rooms were combined to create an 1,100-square-foot Hybrid Operating Room for specialty surgeries such as open heart and image-guided surgeries.

The Hybrid OR, named “The Palace” by staff, is a testimony to the collaboration between staff, contractors, equipment vendors, and the design team that is required to make such a complicated space work perfectly. Each piece is precisely placed to allow for flexibility between surgery types.
