The existing recreation center was expanded to the south with a 1,350-square-foot multi-purpose group fitness room for classes such as yoga and pilates and a 4,000-square-foot weight training room. Both spaces open to a renovated lobby with flexible area with soft seating to encourage studying and collaborating, large wall-mounted monitors for video game play, and a pool table and ping pong table. The adjacent administrative offices were updated with new finishes.

Locker rooms are now fully accessible and include private, gender-neutral shower/restroom. Updates also include new floors, tiles, lockers, solid surface vanities, sinks with automated lavatories, and shower plumbing fixtures.

All lighting was upgraded to LED. The project also included a new modified bitumen roof system on existing building.
