Louis Liu

Originally from Taiwan, Louis is a recent Iowa State University graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Louis’ favorite part of the design process is the conceptual story-building phase. It is fitting, then, that his mantra is: “When going forward, don’t forget to look at the beginning.” Louis is passionate about architecture because there are always new things to learn, fun things to discover, and unknown things to challenge. And he never gets tired of it in his day-to-day life.

Q: What inspires your work? 

A: Everything I see, touch, or even smell could inspire my work. What inspires and motivates my work the most is the emotion from not only people but also other creatures or even objects.

Q: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Fried Chicken
