Luke Danielson
Luke joined the OPN team as a construction administrator in May of 2021. He is a 2015 graduate of Iowa State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication. In 2020, Luke earned his Construction Management Graduate Certificate. Luke’s favorite phase of a project is the end of it because he likes to be able to look back on what he accomplished and look ahead to the next opportunity. His favorite part of the construction industry is that every day brings new challenges and opportunities. This allows him to grow and adapt to the ever-changing world of construction.
Q. What inspires your work?
A. The feeling of accomplishment at the end of a successful project or a long day of work.
Q. What’s your favorite landmark and why?
A. My favorite landmark is the Montauk Point Light. It sits at the easternmost point of Long Island and it overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. It was the first official public works project of the United States and it is the place where I proposed to my wife.
