Seth Hadenfeldt

Seth has a background in interior design; he graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in it before further receiving his Master of Architecture. Although the Lincoln native has work and academic experience in both avenues, he views himself as more of an architect than an interior designer.

There are many parts of the industry Seth enjoys, starting with the wide range of conceptual thinking that pairs with the technical problem solving in each project. He’s most interested in the compositional value of details, and is also excited to learn more about building performance. From interior design, architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, and so much more, Seth is drawn to the variety of facets that come with a full-scope project. This balance is one of the reasons why Seth’s favorite landmark is Mount Rainer, as the mountain overlooks Seattle and “establishes a sense of place in such a beautiful way.”

Q: Do you have a mantra or saying that you remind yourself of during projects?
