Delanie Hiemer

Delanie recently graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Design, High Distinction. Her capstone project focused on improving hospitality design standards using themed immersion, interactive elements, and by providing personalized sensory experiences. Already a member of IIDA, Delanie enjoys everything about Interior Design: “creative problem-solving, 3D puzzling, and the push and pull of materiality with architectural elements is always exciting.”

Q: What inspires your work?

A: My work is mainly inspired by the guests and users who will experience the space! Staying in tune and remaining empathetic to their needs and wants will always result in great design.
