First place win for Sub-Zero’s Bakke Center at 2023 IIDA Wisconsin awards

The Living Kitchen at the Bakke Center – Madison’s headquarters for Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove brands – has earned first place in the retail and wellness category in this year’s International Interior Design Association Wisconsin Chapter’s Celebrate Interior Design Awards. The award ceremony was held on April 13, 2023.

The recently completed renovation of the Bakke Center Living Kitchen transformed a dated and dark showroom that no longer represented the brands’ products or reputation for excellence. A luxurious finish palette and reconfigured layout both integrate and highlight the company’s products. Designed to inspire, the space is both a training tool and a prototype for other living kitchens in showrooms across the country. The new Living Kitchen inhabits the inspiration the brand seeks to evoke in its customers.
