You are the jury in annual People’s Choice Awards

What makes one building, one design better than another? In many ways, it’s all in the eye of the beholder.

New schools represent community pride. A new library, resiliency.

Corporate headquarters — new and renovated — are a testament to a company’s investment in its community, staff, and vision for its future.

So, what makes a design project rise to the top of a people’s choice award? You.

Each year during the American Institute of Architects Iowa Chapter’s People’s Choice Awards, firms from across the state of Iowa submit their projects to the Chapter. The goal is to bring awareness to the built environment and the impact of architecture in our daily lives.

Unlike traditional design awards, this contest isn’t judged by a jury of our peers in the industry. It’s up to you to decide which projects rise to the top.
