OPN named best place to work, architecture firm

With studios in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa, and Madison, Wisconsin, OPN is three for three in this year’s business weekly’s best of rankings.

Earlier this summer, our Cedar Rapids studio was named the Best Architecture Firm in the Corridor for the ninth year in a row by the Corridor Business Journal.

At the end of September, we made the Des Moines Business Record’s annual Best of Des Moines List for the first time in our firm’s 13-year history in the state’s capital.

And this week, we’re thrilled to be among those honored by the Business Insider in Madison as one of the Best Small Companies to Work For.

The best part about these lists is that in the first two instances, the winners are selected based on public voting. And, in the case of the Madison honor, the criteria was purely factual based on criteria like profit-sharing, wellness programs, and other employee satisfaction-related qualities. Since clients and employees are both important bellwethers for any company, we’re pretty proud all around. In fact, we’re blushing.
