Emily Kloostra

A recent graduate of University of Arkansas, Emily brings a fresh perspective on architecture practices and innovation to our Madison office. As a self proclaimed “maker”, Emily enjoys creating and having tangible items that can be used to help inform the scale of a building. Emily is inspired by the ability to be taught something new everyday. Whether it’s a client, project or someone at the next desk over, Emily keeps an open mind and approachability to learn, share and grow.

Q: Past notable projects or senior thesis?

A: My honors capstone used ceramic 3D printing to investigate the interaction between handcraft and digital craft.

Q: What’s your favorite landmark and why?

A: I don’t think I could honestly say anything other than the Pantheon, which takes my breath away every time I step in it.
