Sierra Wroolie

Sierra is a recent 2025 graduate from Iowa State University’s Architecture program. During her time at ISU, she gained experience through a student program to visit Venice Biennale in 2023. For Sierra, architecture is about thoughtfulness and empathy, to transform everyday spaces into moments where the world pauses for a second.

Q. What do you like about your industry 

A. I love that architecture isn’t one thing and takes place at all scales. A building is architecture, but so is a chair and a door handle. It’s exciting to see how the “mundane” can become an opportunity to become art.
