Ryan Frank

Ryan attended Iowa State University, where he received a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in advertising. He enjoys all aspects of a project and especially working with a client to realize their vision in an unexpected way. He strongly believes a great diagram leads to clear and concise planning and an opportunity for a high level of design and functionality.

Q: What inspires your work?

A: Context is everything. I am always interested in seeing how a building connects to a site. More than the design, I’m looking for unique ways for a building to reflect the community, neighborhood, or landscape that surround it. Our job is to show the public how buildings help improve the quality of life not only for the inhabitants but for those around the building.

Q: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: I need variety so I’d choose pizza…pineapple and ham, sausage and mushroom, roasted vegetable with goat cheese, sopressata and fennel I could go on and on and then there is the crust and sauce!
