Jimi Peters

Jimi has worked with OPN since 2011, following his graduation from the University of Florida. His professional career began with work on large projects with a complex array of consultant and teammates that fostered good communication and work ethic. His work on Principal’s campus in Des Moines honed his skills for master planning and exterior detailing, including a 6,000 SF skylight over the center campus atrium, and piqued his interest in historical buildings. The second half of Jimi’s career focused on historic preservation and adaptive reuse. These project types have been woven together to create new spaces, while also preserving and enriching the character of historic spaces. This also includes innovative rework of seven different historic domes, including the iconic golden state capitol dome.
